Former Black Stars skipper and former coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Charles Kwabena Akonnor has been crowned the overall best coach of the year at the just ended Ghana football awards 2019.

Accra Hearts of Oak striker Joseph Esso\’s beautiful goal for hearts against Dreams was voted the best goal of the season.

Ghanaian based international footballer Thomas Partey and female footballer Abdulai Mukarama both won two awards each at the ceremony.

The colourful ceremony is to award the hardworking footballers and teams in the country and outside players.
