Kumasi based football club Asante Kotoko has formed a new board to steer the affairs of the team if football resumes in the country due to covid19 pandemic in the world.
The club’s Executive Chairman Dr Kwame Kyei whose three-year mandate expire last month (April) was asked to continue by Manhyia.
The team which seat down to form this new board also included former management member Alhaji Lamine.
Also former sports journalist Evelyn Nsiah Asare has been appointed.
The rest of the members are people from different educational background.
His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has announced the nine-member Board of Directors for Asante Kotoko Football Club on Thursday afternoon.
The idea to constitute this new board is as a result of the demands of the Club Licensing Board of the Ghana Football Association.
KNUST lecturer Prof. Lydia Nkansah chaired the three-member committee who came out with this board.
