Agyemang Prempeh to host new TV show on TV XYZ

Agyemang Prempeh is set to host a brand new and exciting personality-based television show titled Legends exclusively on TV XYZ.

The award-winning presenter will be sitting with celebrities precisely veterans to talk about their career journey and lives.

Legends, which runs for one-hour seeks to celebrate veterans for their contributions to the growth and success the creative arts industry continues to chalk.

The maiden episode of the Legends show premiered on June 21, 2020.

Each week, Agyengo as he is fondly called will be joined by a seasoned actor, musician, comedian, radio & television personality, etc, who has curved a niche for himself or herself in his or her field of endeavor.

With an unprecedented track record of putting celebrities on their toes — each Sunday at 5pm, Agyemang will bring thrills and chills to TV XYZ audience.

Agyemang Prempeh has about two decades of experience in the Ghanaian media space.

Known not to shy away from controversies, Agyemang Prempeh hosted Channel R’s 205 Entertainment Review until he left the North Dzorwulu-based religious station.

Many believed he was the right replacement for DJ Abio who also left the show amidst tough competition across the radio circles, but Agyengo was able to hold the fort until he left the program.

Under his watch as the host of the 205 Entertainment program on Channel R, he took the program to the next level which earned him applauds by most tabloids in the country.

In 2012, he joined Rainbow Radio Agyengo spent six good years with the station and hosted two of the outfit’s most-listened-to programmes – ‘GH. Entertainment’ , the entertainment talk show slot, and ‘Rainbow Church’, a sunday service slot that also had such mammoth following. He also hosted other slots during his 6-year foray with the station; the mid-morning show and the late afternoon or drive-time show.

Agyengo, who is a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry has won a number of awards in Ghana, winning 7 major awards; 6 Radio & Television Personality (RTP) Awards and 1 for DJ Awards.

He currently hosts Power Mid-morning on weekly and Power Entertainment on Saturdays on Osu-based Power 97.9 FM.

Legends airs on TV XYZ on Sundays between the hours of 5pm and 6pm
