Kotoko Drawn Against Algerian Side In Caf Confederations Cup

Ghanaian side Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been drawn against Algerian giants ES Setif in the CAF Confederations Cup knockout stage.

The Ghanaian giants will host ES Setif on 14th February, 2021 in Ghana before traveling to Algeria on the 21st February, 2021 for the second leg.

Kotoko dropped from the champions league after failing to raise a team to face Al Hilal Omdurman on Wednesday in the second leg clash against the Sudanese after losing the first leg tie at home  due to their players testing positive to the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

Kotoko were declared loser but they have vowed to challenge the manner of their elimination.

Kotoko have vehemently protested the results of the COVID-19 tests as they suspect foul play from the home team.
