Ghanaian recording artists, Eugene Marfo popularly called Kuami Eugene, has replied colleague musician Mr Drew recent comments.

Few days ago Mr Drew revealed in an interview that when it come to song theft his fellow singer Kuami Eugene, is ahead of him.

The singer born Andrews Commey Otoo, in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM was responding to allegations that he is known for using compositions by other artistes in songs that he releases.

According to him, he is not the first artiste to ‘steal’ songs belonging to other artistes, and that Kuami Eugene does the same.

He added that, Kuami Eugene started stealing songs before me. He has a scholarship in it,”

The “Open Gate” hitmaker, commenting about Mr Drew’s statement, said the ‘Highly Spiritual’ artiste just want to use him for attention.

I do not know what @mrdrewofficial wants from me. I think maybe he wants my attention and now he has gotten to it. He’s new. He will get there — He should have fun“.

In 2020, the official video for Mr Drew song, Eat, featuring Stonebwoy was deleted off Youtube after a report that it illegally sampled ‘Love Riddim’ by Nigerian-American artiste, Rotimi. Also Kuami Eugene has been accused in the past for sampling peoples song.
